(Noun) A general term for any unrealistic fear of someone that causes awful disruptions and lessened ability to function in one's life. When one comes in contact with the animal, object, situation, type of person, environment, blood/injection/injury that frightens them, a panic attack can occur abruptly or slowly develop.

Usage: She was so frightened yet we did not know why or what her specific phobia was.
